If you're seeking some time away where you can unwind, unplug and wake up to the sounds of the birds after enjoying an evening under the stars on a clear night - stay with us! Experience living off grid in one of our beautiful cabins tucked away in a mixed woodland on Manitoulin Island. Each cabin is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic.
Both of our cabins have their own outdoor kitchen set up with a Coleman stove where you can prepare and eat your meals. Plates, bowls, cups, silverware as well as a French Press available to make coffee will be available to guests in the outdoor kitchen. Cooking pots, pans and a kettle will also be available for guest use. Powered by the sun, our guests can also enjoy a warm shower in the forest. Fresh towels, soap, biodegradable shampoo and conditioner will be provided for guest use. Guests also have access to a private outhouse that is both bright and clean. With each space there is an outdoor fire pit that our guests are welcome to use. Firewood is provided as part of your experience.
Guests will have access to the main parking area, where they will park and leave their car. In addition to the area that includes the cabin, outdoor washroom, kitchen and shower areas guests are welcome to explore the different trails throughout our property.
The Cedar Cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is a serene space offering our guests the solitude they are seeking, where they can wake up to the sounds of the forest, while enjoying their coffee on a covered porch set amongst the cedars. and end your day by a crackling campfire and drift off to sleep as you listen to the quiet of the whispering trees.
Find your way to the Fine Pine and experience living off grid in this Manitoulin treasure. The Fine Pine faces south with a wall of windows that makes this space bright throughout the day. Set among the trees, the Fine Pine is tucked away in the back corner of our property where you can wake up to the sound of birdsong in the mornings and enjoy relaxing around the outdoor fire under the stars at night.
